Safe Tattooing
Almost all of the recently published materials
are good news for tattoo artists. The 'Golden
Rule' still applies here, Always: Err on theSide of Caution. If tubes, needles & ALLother work materials are new or properly
sterilized, tattooing is almost 100% safe for
both the customer and artist.

When going for a tat, check to see if the artist
is throwing away the extra ink in the cap from
the last client. If not, there is a good chance
the ink is contaminated. If the artist isn't
wearing surgical/plastic gloves, ask the artist
to put some on. Extreme Caution: these areonly two of the signs that this artist is not
aware of viral transmission precautions.
